Powerhouse Ministries believes there is hope for everyone, and seeks to invite those in crisis into a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ through acts of love, mercy and forgiveness.

Folsom is known for its historic Powerhouse - the sole source of light and electricity for many years. But God has built another "powerhouse" in Folsom: one that brings spiritual light and power to those whose lives are in darkness. Those in need and without hope have found new life with
Powerhouse Ministries since 1986.
Recognizing that the less fortunate of our community need encouragement and support in every area of their lives; Powerhouse has created three distinct areas of service: a Drop-In Center, Neighborhood Outreach Programs and a Family Trasition Center.
